About Emergency Dental RX
Emergency Dental RX is a UK-regulated online pharmacy service providing rapid, prescriber-reviewed interim treatment for painful dental infections when getting an emergency dental appointment is difficult.
What we do
Patients complete a structured online consultation about their symptoms and medical history. A registered prescriber reviews every submission individually and, where clinically appropriate, approves a short course of antibiotics that is dispatched discreetly to a UK address. Our service operates 24/7, so consultations can be submitted at any time of day or night.
Interim relief, not a cure
Antibiotics are an interim measure only. They can reduce swelling and pain from a dental infection, but they do not treat the underlying cause. Every patient is advised to arrange definitive dental treatment as soon as possible.
Regulation and safety
We operate as a GPhC-registered pharmacy (registration 9012762) and supply MHRA-regulated medicines. To support antimicrobial stewardship we limit supply to one course every 6 months and a maximum of two courses in any 12-month period. Identity verification is required before any medicine is dispatched.
Data protection
Consultation answers, clinical photographs and identity documents are encrypted and stored on UK-region infrastructure, accessible only to the clinical team reviewing your case. Read our privacy policy for full detail.
